Why I Moved NextBangla Toward AI-First Products in 2024

After 13 years of running a multi-disciplinary services agency, I made the call to go AI-first. Here's the reasoning, the resistance, and what changed.

NextBangla had run for thirteen years as a services agency before I made the call to pivot toward AI-first products. The decision wasn't sudden, the path wasn't smooth, and the business case wasn't obvious to everyone on the team.

What pushed the decision

Two things converged in 2024: AI capabilities crossed a threshold where they became genuinely useful as product primitives, and our service-side margins were getting compressed by the same automation that made the AI products possible. The economics of running a services-only business at our scale started looking less compounding than they had been.
